As many of you know, we’re a bunch of nerds who love arcade games. If you’re looking for fun holiday computer games, look no further than Google. They’ve taken the Santa Tracker to a whole new level. Instead of just watching Santa’s journey around the world on Christmas Eve, Google has developed a series of interactive holiday games geared toward kids (and yet we’re addicted). Here are some of our favorite games:
Since we love arcade games, this one’s pretty awesome. All you do is drop the presents into the chimneys and earn points. Simple, yet hella fun.
You can style Santa’s hair and share your work on social media. The best part is the look of fear on Santa’s face when you pull out the electric razor.
Another arcade-style game where you fly around catching candy, presents, and other holiday-related items to earn points.
Match the cards…super easy, yet super fun.
Basically “Where’s Waldo” with Santa Claus and his pals.
In this game, you tilt the board so the gumball rolls along the candy canes and eventually falls into the funnel.
This one’s super fun! You have to place conveyor belts and springs around the gameboard so the present eventually ends up in Santa’s bag.
This one’s kinda like Frogger. Aim the presents to the boats without them running into the rocks (or glaciers…whatever they are).
This one’s kinda like a racecar game, but you’re racing rudolph instead of a car.
So as you can see, Google’s Santa Tracker is so much more than a Santa tracker. The frontend development is obviously outstanding and it’s a great way to teach kids about coding. If nothing else, it’s a super fun way to waste time!
